There are a few things we wanted to share with you.

The Pool: Don’t let it’s maintenance scare you it has an automatic cleaner and chlorinator. Both of our boys learned to swim before any of their friends because it was so accessible and they became comfortable in the water. We had a chance to get to know all of their friends because when they came over we had to be in the yard with them.

The schools: You will hear many things about our schools. I like to think that is because the parents here are very involved and want the best for their children. Our experience was that our children had an excellent education, went on to graduate from the colleges of their choice and have fulfilling jobs in their chosen fields. They also had all different types of friends and when they moved away they were prepared for the world as it really is.  We could not have asked for more for them.

The house: We moved here in our 30’s before we had children. We never thought we would fill all these rooms. Over the years the rooms have changed from guest rooms and offices to bedrooms and playrooms.  The kitchen has always been the heart of the house. It is where everyone seems to gather. It was a great house for entertaining.

Location: My husband commuted for many years to NYC. He walked to and from the train and it was great exercise. It took him 12 minutes. There is a jitney now but he never used it. Our street has always been very quiet because it is not a through street as most of the others are. You would be amazed at the difference that makes. When our boys were older they could walk into town after school and on the weekends to meet friends. We always knew there were policemen and neighbors looking out for them and would make sure they were OK, but it gave them a sense of freedom and us a peace of mind.

We have lived here for over 30 years. It is time to retire and turn this house over to some other family to love. If that family happens to be yours we hope you will be as happy as ours has been and you make many wonderful memories.

Good luck in your home search,
