Dear Future 18 Melrose Avenue Home Owners,

“The Christmas tree can go right here in the front window” my wife excitedly proclaimed during our tour of the property. That’s when I knew we had found the right place for us because she was beginning to envision 18 Melrose as our home.

After years of living in cramped, noisy NYC apartments –which was the exact opposite of what we wanted– we decided to look in New Jersey for a place where we had some room to create a home and start our family. The spacious, open floor plan and natural light streaming through the windows were two big items on our checklist.  It needed some TLC, but we were anxious for a place we could own and renovate to what we wanted our home to be like.

We have had a lot of special memories in this house, where both our sons spent the first part of their lives.  With a giant kitchen and dining room hosting was easy and having 5 bedrooms meant plenty of space for friends and family to visit.

We hope you will have just as many happy memories as we’ve had here.
