Dear Future 260 Tichenor Ave Homeowners,

When we first stepped through the front door of 260 Tichenor Avenue, we were immediately struck by the amazing feeling of space that welcomed us. Wonderful natural light and high ceilings, along with an unusually large eat-in kitchen, told us that we had found a keeper. The play room off the kitchen leading to the large backyard and deck pretty much sealed the deal before we even saw the rest of the house!

Having moved from Manhattan, where we still worked, it was important to be walking distance to the train, and having easy access to downtown made us feel that we were getting the best of both worlds – an easy commute, access to all that NYC has to offer, and a wonderful house and community to come home to at the end of the day.

We have enjoyed the many updates that we have made to the house, including the amazing bright and airy 3rd floor space, which allowed us to look over the neighborhood while relaxing, reading, or working. The addition of a full bathroom on the main floor, complete with a whirlpool bath, became the kids’ favorite room in the house, and the newly renovated basement gave us the ability to have overnight visitors, a dedicated home gym space, and a large laundry area.

In addition to the house itself, we were blessed to be part of the incredible culture and diversity in the South Orange/Maplewood area. Our neighborhood is truly a community unto itself, and we are delighted that the next lucky homeowners will have the chance to experience all that this home and the surrounding areas have to offer.
