Welcome to 323 Radel Terrace! We bought our home as a young married couple with no children and working in Manhattan. We both grew up in Brooklyn and thought the suburbs were the place to be, yet not move too far away from our ”roots”. South Orange was the perfect location….30 minutes back to Brooklyn, close to Manhattan and yes, sidewalks!

What luck to land on Radel Terrace! There was a mix of families who had been here a while and a group, like us, just starting out. Our two boys always say what a wonderful childhood they had; walking to school with friends, playing sports and numerous summer vacations with yes, the neighbors. The fact that is so amazing is that now that they are all grown and some married with families of their own, they have still stayed a close knit group. This is a true testament of our great neighborhood with neighbors that are like family.

This home has served our family very well, from the spacious rooms and full basement, to the backyard with the fieldstone patio, to the attached garage (which makes it very convenient on rainy days). The added bonus of commuting from here also has its advantages. The Jitney to downtown, Midtown Direct and proximity to Newark Airport have all been great time savers.

We cannot believe thirty five years have passed since we walked into our home, but it is now on to the next chapter closer to our children and grandchildren. It is time to “pass the torch” to another family to make many wonderful memories here as we have.
