“We feel really lucky to have lived in this neighborhood in Maplewood.The street is a good mix of older families (both without kids and with kids gone to college), and young families just starting out. With the exception of a BBQ or party now and again, everyone is really respectful of noise level and of other people’s privacy. We see people in town, and upon Springfield Ave., which has transformed itself dramatically in the 10 years that we’ve lived here. We also have a very diverse street- it’s a microcosm of Maplewood living. We really love that it’s a walking town as well. While you can drive everywhere, you don’t need to. You can easily walk into town, to the park, to the diner, to the bank. We can’t imagine having to drive everywhere.
