Dear Prospective Buyer,

If you are looking at homes in Maplewood, you have an inkling of what a great town we have here. It’s an easy commute to New York City with a neighborhood jitney that whisks you right to the train – and anywhere in the world with an airport 15 minutes away. We have culture, dynamic people, a super-cute downtown, a fantastic pool just down the street and amazing neighborhood schools.

After years of travelling North America and living in the city, we quickly realized this community and quality of life was just what we were looking for. With Borden Park just down the Street and a five minute drive to South Mountain Reservation which is a 2000 acre reserve -you can hike, bike, run or just be amongst nature in what feels like your backyard.

Once we arrived, our search was brief, falling instantly in love with what would become our first home. The open concept of the main floor immediately drew us in & allowed for easy entertaining from family visits to holiday parties with a personal favorite being the bright and cheery sunroom in the back – a place to enjoy the quiet feel. There was just something about it here, something we couldn’t let go of from the moment we saw it. Many a celebration was enjoyed not only here but also at one of our friendly neighbor’s homes, even welcoming us with a special BBQ in our honor the weekend we arrived.

Mostly, we were looking for a place to call home and that we did. It was clear the house had been cared for by the previous owners and we so looked forward to doing the same. Life takes a certain path and with that, ours will continue elsewhere but we genuinely hope you enjoy this extra-special place just as much as we did. It will be greatly missed.

Best Wishes,
